July 2025, the Pays d&#8217;Arlon Tourist Office has been involved in the <strong>Interreg Greater Region Memoria Romana project.<\/strong><br \/>The aim of this European cooperation programme is<strong> to promote the cross-border Gallo-Roman heritage<\/strong> shared by Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, France and the Interreg Greater Region Memoria Romana project are working together to raise awareness of a rich shared heritage:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arlon.be\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-mce-href=\"https:\/\/www.arlon.be\/\">the City of Arlon<\/a> (Belgium),<\/li>\n<li><a data-mce-href=\"https:\/\/www.paysdarlon.be\/en\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.paysdarlon.be\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">the Maison du Tourisme du Pays d&#8217;Arlon<\/a> (Belgium)<\/li>\n<li><a data-mce-href=\"https:\/\/dalheim.lu\/\" href=\"https:\/\/dalheim.lu\/\" target=\"_blank\">the Municipality of Dalheim<\/a> (Luxembourg),<\/li>\n<li><a data-mce-href=\"https:\/\/www.trier.de\/#\" href=\"https:\/\/www.trier.de\/#\" target=\"_blank\">the City of Trier<\/a> (Germany),<\/li>\n<li><a data-mce-href=\"https:\/\/damvillers-spincourt.com\/\" href=\"https:\/\/damvillers-spincourt.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">the Community of Municipalities of Damvillers-Spincourt<\/a> (France).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These territories, linked by a shared Gallo-Roman past, wish <strong>to enhance the tourist and cultural appeal of their archaeological sites.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section Romana project, the Pays d&#8217;Arlon Tourist Office will implement several initiatives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>creation of <strong>new cross-border cycle routes,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>improvement of existing routes,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>tourism promotion campaigns,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>organisation of <strong>events dedicated to the Gallo-Roman theme.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e0a4acd elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" a budget of <strong>\u20ac308,019<\/strong> has been allocated:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>60%<\/strong> financed by the <strong>FEDER<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li><strong>30%<\/strong> by the <strong>Walloon Region<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li><strong>10%<\/strong> by the <strong>municipalities of the Pays d&#8217;Arlon<\/strong> (Attert, Arlon, Messancy and
