The Land of Arlon also offers a number of waymarked cycle rides ranging from 10 to 65 km in the villages and the surrounding countryside.
Or you can explore the Gallor routes, following the path of the old Roman roads.

Gallor n°8
Starting from the Archaeological Museum of Arlon, head off in the footsteps of the Romans along this route created especially for cyclists.You will go past the Wolberg and discover various villages in the communes of Messancy (Hondelange, Sélange, etc.) and Arlon (Autelbas, Toernich, etc.). Starting from the Maison du Tourisme du Pays d’Arlon (Land of Arlon Tourist Office), head off in the footsteps of the Romans along this route created especially for cyclists.You will follow a stretch running parallel to the old Roman road that linked Trier and Reims. You will discover various villages in the communes of Attert (Nobressart, Tontelange, etc.) and Arlon (Viville, Freylange, etc.). Gallor comprises no fewer than 15 circuits in total! The Belarel cycle ride
Mount your bike and head off to discover the villages in the commune of Arlon. This 54-kilometre route, waymarked in both directions, gives you the chance to admire the region’s beautiful landscapes and discover the curiosities to be found nearby: the Sainte-Croix chapel, the Fouches marshes, the Cycle museum in Weyler, the Clairefontaine site, the Stockem lakes, the ruins of Autelbas castle and its museum, the listed village of Guirsch with its panoramic view and more. All these places and many others are well worth a look, hence the name chosen for this cycle ride. In fact, the word ‘Belarel’ is a combination of ‘Bel’ (beautiful) and ‘Arel’ (Arlon in Luxembourgish). Start:There is no specific starting point. So you can start your ride wherever you wish. From the centre of Arlon, the recommended starting point is at the Sainte-Croix chapel (rue de Bastogne). This route, waymarked in both directions, mainly follows paths and secondary roads. It also runs along a few regional roads. A mountain bike is not essential for this circuit. A hybrid bike is also suitable.Waymarking:

Remarkable trees circuit
This 41-kilometre circuit will give you the chance to see 28 of the 60 remarkable trees listed in the Attert Valley Nature Park, as well as the 14 main villages in the commune of Attert.These trees, which are exceptional owing to their age, their size, their shape, their past or the legend that surrounds them, are known as Remarkable Trees. They represent a natural and cultural heritage that must be preserved. The Attert valley remarkable trees circuit aims to give you a chance to discover them. In 2015, it won the ‘Tourism & Innovation’ award presented by the Province of Luxembourg. The Cuesta Route
The Cuesta Route partly crosses landscapes overlooked by the first Lorraine ridge, known as the Sinemurian cuesta.The landscape in the Attert valley is characterised by meadows and groves interlaced with small streams. These varied natural environments provide an ideal habitat for a wide range of flora and fauna. Each village has retained its authenticity and its harmony. Many old residences and agricultural buildings dating from the 18th and 19th centuries can still be admired here. The paths are dotted with crosses and calvaries in local stone.
